CliProxy setup guide with separate GB and IP paths leading to a connection check

For CliProxy setup, redeem a GB code for residential traffic or an IP code for short-term IP access. Generate GB proxies through traffic account mode or use the short-term IP section, then enter the connection details in your app.

27Proxy sells both CliProxy GB codes and CliProxy IP activation keys. We are an independent reseller, with no affiliation to CliProxy.

CliProxy setup: GB vs IP codes

Start with the product name on your order. A code adds access to the provider account; the host, port and authentication details are what your browser or script uses to connect.

GB codes use traffic account mode; IP codes use short-term IP extraction, as described in the product guides and CliProxy documentation.

According to CliProxy's traffic page, unused traffic has no expiry. Its short-term IP page describes usage charged on extraction. A short-term IP code is a different product from a long-term static ISP plan.

How to redeem a CliProxy code

Step 1

Reveal the completed order's code

In 27Proxy, open Orders, select the completed order and choose Show code. Codes become available after payment is confirmed and the order completes. Keep the code private.

Step 2

Open the matching redemption area

Sign in through CliProxy's official website. Redeem the code in the area for the matching product: GB traffic or short-term IP access. Copy the complete code carefully.

Step 3

Check the credited balance

Check the credited traffic or IP balance before generating connections. An IP bundle label alone is not a count of ready-to-use proxy connections.

If you need help finding a delivered code, contact 27Proxy support. Include the order ID privately. For a provider-side redemption error, keep its exact wording so support can identify the issue.

Generate a GB traffic proxy

Follow CliProxy's Account mode tutorial to generate a GB traffic proxy. Start with one configuration.

Step 4

Choose the exit location

Select the country, state and city required for your work. This is the location of the outward-facing IP that the destination website sees.

Step 5

Choose rotating or sticky

CliProxy describes Rotating IP as using a new exit on each request. Its Sticky IP mode is intended to keep an exit for the configured period; the provider lists sessions of up to 120 minutes, followed by a change to another IP matching the conditions.

CliProxy's Account mode documentation describes per-request rotation and sticky sessions of up to 120 minutes. Captured on 28 October 2026.

Step 6

Choose the forwarding region and user

Select the forwarding server region, then the user whose credentials the connection will use. CliProxy recommends a forwarding region close to the destination or to the person using the proxy. Keep this choice separate from the exit location.

Step 7

Copy the complete connection details

Generate the proxy details and transfer the host, port, username and password into your app. Match its proxy protocol to the generated configuration. Preserve the full generated username, including any location and session parameters.

CliProxy's traffic integration guide explains that the server reads exit-location and session settings from the username. The guide states that changing the session identifier assigns a new exit. When checking sticky behavior, keep that identifier unchanged.

The forwarding host and port identify the entry server, rather than the exit IP seen by the destination. CliProxy documentation captured on 28 October 2026.

CliProxy IP setup in a proxy client

CliProxy's short-term IP page lists website extraction through username/password authentication or API access. Use the short-term IP section for this code type and generate the connection details there.

Step 8

Select the location and extract an IP

Choose the required country and city from the available filters. Begin with one address and check the resulting connection before extracting more.

Step 9

Enter the details in your client

In an app that supports proxy connections, select the matching protocol and enter the generated address, port and authentication details. A CDK belongs in redemption; it is separate from the proxy password.

How to test your CliProxy connection

Check your CliProxy setup in the app you plan to use; each program has its own proxy settings.

Step 10

Check the four connection fields

Compare the host, port, username and password with the generated details. Check the protocol too. The forwarding host is the entry point; the exit IP is the address the destination sees.

The app connects to the gateway; the destination sees the residential exit IP.

Step 11

Run one connection check

Use your app's proxy check or follow CliProxy's connection verification guide. That guide provides HTTP and SOCKS5 curl examples. Keep credentials out of shared logs and screenshots.

Step 12

Check session behavior and the intended destination

For a sticky GB session, repeat the check with the same session settings. Record the exit, elapsed time and any errors. Then try the intended permitted destination. A connection test checks connectivity; a destination can still reject proxy traffic under its access rules. Use its approved API or contact its operator when access is restricted.

FAQ

What does a CliProxy IP code add?

A CliProxy IP code adds short-term IP access. GB codes instead add traffic allowance; the two code types use separate setup paths.

Does unused CliProxy GB traffic expire?

CliProxy states that unused residential traffic does not expire. That statement concerns the traffic balance, rather than the lifetime of an individual exit IP.

Can CliProxy keep the same IP for a session?

CliProxy states that traffic account mode supports sticky sessions of up to 120 minutes. Changing the session identifier assigns a new exit, so keep it unchanged when checking session behavior.

Which proxy protocols does CliProxy support?

CliProxy's protocol guide lists HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. Use the protocol selected for your generated connection and supported by your app.

Should I paste the activation code into my browser's proxy password field?

No; the password field needs the generated proxy password. Redeem the activation code in CliProxy before configuring the app.

What should a CliProxy review check?

A useful CliProxy review separates GB traffic from short-term IP access. Its connection results should identify the protocol, session settings and destination alongside elapsed times and failures.
