What Is a Proxy CDK? Activation Codes Explained, and What to Check Before You Buy One

A proxy CDK is an activation code for traffic, IP credits or a named provider entitlement. Match the code to your account and check its unit, region and provider-stated expiry before buying.

A proxy CDK is an activation code you redeem with a proxy provider to add traffic, IP credits or a named service entitlement to your account. The code gets you access to the purchased product; you then configure the proxy through the provider's dashboard or app.

27Proxy sells these codes as an independent reseller. Before buying, match the provider, product and unit to the account you intend to use. A GB code and an IP code can belong to the same brand while funding different services.

Proxy CDK meaning: what is the code used for?

In proxy listings, CDK and CDKey label a redeemable proxy activation code. It is separate from the host, port and authentication details that your application needs to connect.

For example, a traffic code adds an allowance to the provider account; you generate the connection details afterward. Pasting the activation code into your browser's proxy-password field is the wrong step.

Proxy CDK types: GB codes, IP keys and premium activation

Start with the unit, then check the named product. Browse residential GB codes for traffic-based access or IP activation keys for per-IP products.

Three listing types and the details that distinguish them; premium is a product label, not a measurement unit.
TypeWhat the purchase addsWhat to check before ordering
GB traffic codeA measured traffic allowanceProvider, traffic product, package size and provider-stated validity
IP activation keyCredits for a per-IP serviceIP quantity, when a credit is consumed and how extracted IPs are used
Premium activationThe entitlement attached to that named optionExact unit, included access and compatible account or product area

For a concrete traffic example, NovProxy states that its Residential Traffic product is billed by traffic volume. Its separate short-term residential IP product is billed by IP address.

According to 9Proxy's GB documentation, requests consume bandwidth, and endpoints can be generated within the available balance. In its IP documentation, 9Proxy states that an IP credit is deducted when an address is forwarded to a local port in the app.

9Proxy describes bandwidth use rather than IP-count deductions for its GB product. Public documentation captured on 28 October 2026.

The IPRocket Premium Activation catalogue uses options named 2 and 10 without a unit. Ask what the selected entitlement includes before ordering; a bare number is not enough to identify GB, IPs or a duration.

How redeeming a proxy CDK works

Follow the instructions for the provider and product you purchased.

Step 1

Choose the provider account

Use the account that should receive the purchase. Check the provider name and the service type against your order before entering the code.

Step 2

Redeem in the matching product area

Find the code-redemption field using the provider's instructions and submit the delivered code. Match the code's service to the provider's traffic or per-IP product.

Step 3

Check the credited entitlement

Look for the corresponding traffic balance, IP balance or activated service. Compare it with the option you ordered before generating connection details.

Step 4

Configure access in your application

Use the provider's setup flow to obtain an endpoint and authentication details, or configure local forwarding where required. Enter those details in your application and run its connection check.

Reveal the code, redeem it with the provider, then configure the connection. This is an explanatory diagram, not a dashboard screenshot.

Provider workflows differ after redemption:

  • LokiProxy: the LokiProxy CDK guide separates residential traffic from short-term IP credits. LokiProxy states that short-term IP CDKeys are redeemed on the proxy settings page.
  • NovProxy: the NovProxy setup guide covers redemption followed by traffic configuration or short-term IP extraction. Its IP setup documentation places IP selection under Short-Term Residential IP.
  • 9Proxy: how to download and use 9Proxy covers the app workflow. 9Proxy states that its IP product uses local port forwarding and its GB product uses dashboard generation.

What to check before buying a proxy CDK

Provider and account compatibility. Match the full brand and service name. Check whether your intended account can redeem that product, particularly if the provider has separate traffic, IP and premium areas. Your 27Proxy order and your provider balance are separate records.

What the quantity means. Establish whether the option measures traffic, IP credits or another entitlement. Confirm that the delivered item is a redeemable code for provider access.

Region and available locations. Check any redemption-region restriction attached to the offer separately from the countries available for proxy targeting. A location filter selects an exit location; it does not describe where a code can be redeemed. Confirm any required country or city for your workload before purchase.

Expiry at each stage. Check the provider-stated redemption deadline, balance validity and active-IP lifetime separately. LokiProxy's short-term FAQ states that unused IP credits never expire and a credit is deducted on first extraction. That describes the balance, rather than an unredeemed code's deadline.

Software and connection method. Check the setup requirements against the device and application you will use. 9Proxy states that its IP workflow uses the app, whereas its GB workflow generates dashboard endpoints.

Why buy through 27Proxy, and how is the code delivered?

A reseller lets you choose among providers in one proxy activation-code catalogue. At 27Proxy, payment can use wallet balance, or Binance Pay, BEP-20 USDT or Litecoin when shown at checkout.

After payment is confirmed, the code is delivered through your Orders page. Codes remain hidden until the order completes, and some codes take a few minutes. Open Orders, select the completed order and choose Show code, then redeem it with the provider.

For a code or order question, contact 27Proxy support with the order ID. Keep the code and account information out of public posts.

FAQ

Do proxy CDKs expire?

Check the provider-stated redemption deadline for the specific code and plan separately from the validity of the credited balance. A statement that unused traffic or IP credits never expire refers to that balance.

Can a GB code be used for an IP plan?

Buy the code for the plan you intend to use. GB traffic and per-IP credits fund different products, even when the provider name is the same. Check the exact service and unit before ordering.

What if a code says already used?

Contact 27Proxy support with your order ID and the exact message. Keep the code private and share the details through the support channel.

What is a CD key for proxy access?

A CDKey in a proxy listing is an activation code redeemed for provider access. It is separate from your proxy password. Your application uses the endpoint and authentication details supplied through the provider's configuration flow, or the local forwarding details for an app-based product.

Does an IP key buy a permanent address?

An IP credit is an allowance to activate an address. Its balance validity and the address's online lifetime are separate. According to 9Proxy's IP documentation, unused IP balance does not expire, while activated residential addresses have variable uptime.
